Will investors have fewer investment options if all who provide advice to individual investors must be a fiduciary and put those investors’ interests first? “Yes,” says Sheryl Garrett, I agree. She says eliminating some of the worst choices that benefit the salesperson instead of the investor would result in fewer, choices, but better choices, less chaos, less confusion, but better outcome for the investor.
